JUNIOR GROUP GOLF LESSONS
building not only skills but also friends
Sussex Golf Academy junior group lessons are
a great way for children to become involved in golf. Headed by Tim
Lewis, the Sussex Golf Academy's Head Teaching Professional our
group lessons guide children through the many aspects of the
entire golf game. Junior golfers benefit from both indoor
instruction at our academy in Findon and outdoor lessons at
Brooklands Golf Course.
The Sussex Golf Academy Head Teaching
Professional Tim Lewis explains: "The key to teaching kids is 'make
it fun', don't over coach them. The group lessons we run and the
junior camps are always extremely popular with many children
attending. All
the kids participate in putting, chipping and playing in mini
competitions"
Children are actively encouraged to enjoy their golf through fun
activities, humour and praise to increase their confidence.
Junior group golf lessons start with an overview of the game,
describing rules and etiquette, and follow on to cover the full
swing, putting, pitching and chipping.
Our group lessons are held in 1.5 hour sessions when indoors at
the academy in Findon and 2 hour sessions when out on course at Brooklands
Golf Course. The cost per child for academy sessions is only £5.00
and Brooklands sessions are £7.00 (this covers all green fees).

Prices for the junior group lessons
are £5 when based at Findon and £8 when based at Brooklands.
Prices cover all fees and there will be no extra charges.
