Please note, starting times will be available roughly one week prior to the competition. This information will be available on our website, www.sussexgolfacademy.com under the news section or by phoning 01903 877111. It is the responsibility of each competitors parent to seek the relevant starting time.












RULES AND CONDITIONS
--------------------

1) Played under rules of golf.

2) Competition format will be stroke play over 9 holes (the 7 and under group will play 7 holes)

3) In the event of a tie there will be a countback over the last 6 holes, 3 holes, 1 hole to find a winner. The committees decision will be final.

4) All competitors to check in at registration desk 30 minutes before starting time and must be at the first tee 10 minutes before starting time.

5) Parents are most welcome to walk round and help record correct scores and show support for their child, however please no caddying and no advice. Let them play and have fun.

6) All competitors will play from the same tees.

7) After 3 failed attempts to play from a bunker a competitor may throw his or her ball nearer the hole with no penalty. Only the 3 failed attempts will count.

8) There will be no more than 10 strokes per hole allowed, including a maximum of 5 putts on any green. If a competitor reaches the maximum number of allowed strokes / putts, please move to the next hole and their strokes of 10 will be entered on their scorecard for that hole.

9) There will be seven groups:        
				       7 and Unders (Mixed Group)

				       Girls                 Boys
                                       8 - 9 Year Olds       8 - 9 Year Olds
                                       10 - 11 Year Olds     10 - 11 Year Olds
                                       12 - 13 Year Olds     12 - 13 Year Olds

Age shall be determined by the competitors age on the 25th October 2006. Birth certificate may be requested.
